Salming Q-SERIES Carbon Pro 2.0 RD 29 TRIDENT Black/Silver was developed in collaboration with SSL star Emil Ruud, who plays for IBF Falun and the Swedish national team. The stick is a high-performance floorball stick developed for players looking for low weight, quick stick handling and controlled finishing. The model combines the material technology of the Carbon Pro 2.0 series with a slimmer RD profile and a flexible 29 mm flex.

RD stands for Reduced Dimension and means that the shaft has a slimmer profile. The 23.6 mm shaft diameter provides a narrower grip and a smooth feel in the hand, making it suitable for players who appreciate close control and quick movements in ball handling.

The shaft is made from 95% High Strength Carbon and 5% Vectran. The carbon fibre keeps the weight low and provides a responsive shaft, while Vectran helps reduce vibrations and create a more controlled feel during shots, passes and ball handling. The stated stick weight is 175 grams with a shaft length of 96 cm.

The 29 mm flex provides a more flexible alternative to the stiffer 27 flex in the same series. The matte design with a brushed metal appearance gives the stick a clean and technical look. The RD Pro Round end cap complements the slimmer shaft profile, while the shaft is equipped with X3M Performance Grip.

The stick is equipped with Salming's TRIDENT blade in Touch X material. The blade weighs approximately 66 grams and features a rear-shifted balance point that makes it feel even lighter during play. The factory-set pre-hook provides a ready-to-play shape straight out of the box.

The TRIDENT blade has an 8.5 mm concavity and an even curve that provide secure ball handling and quick ball release. The optimised pre-bend in the heel helps keep the ball in the correct position, while the Q1-inspired toe-drag tip and stepped frame construction make technical movements easier.

The increased lie angle maximises contact with the floor, while the stiff heel construction provides high torsional stiffness for stable and powerful finishing. The Touch X material is a lightweight and durable PP compound that combines stiffness with a soft, grippy surface for good ball control.
