What size is the standard floorball goal?

For official matches, the standard size is 160 x 115 cm. A goal of this size that is also IFF-approved meets the requirements for competitive play at both national and international levels. This means the goal complies with all requirements regarding dimensions, stability, and safety.

Floorball goals for children and juniors

For younger players, it is important that the goal is adapted to their age and level of play:

• Junior size (120 x 90 cm) – perfect for players up to 11 years old
• Smaller goals (90 x 60 cm or smaller) – excellent for skill training or play

These goals are easy to handle, and some models are also foldable for convenient transport.

Foldable or fixed goals – which is best?

Foldable floorball goals are a smart choice if you want a lightweight solution that can be packed away after use. They are often made from lightweight steel or reinforced plastic, making them portable but slightly less stable compared to fixed models.

• Nets made of polyester or nylon are durable and easy to assemble
• Some models include drop nets that protect both walls and floors from bouncing balls

For outdoor use, rust-resistant materials and goals with UV-resistant nets are recommended.
