Zorro blade

Guide: Which Zorro blade should I choose? (Read more here)

Zorro blades are specialized blades designed for the so-called "zorro trick". In our guide, you can learn more about how to perform the trick.

Unlike regular floorball blades, zorro blades are shaped with an extra hook, making it easier to perform advanced tricks such as the zorro move.

Choose the right zorro blade

The differences between various zorro blades mainly lie in how deep the blade is concaved, how much it is twisted, and how much material is present in the toe. These factors determine how easily the ball sticks, how stable it is when lifted into the air, and how controlled your stick feels during spins and tricks.

Concavity and toe hook

Zorro blades have a significantly more aggressive concavity than regular match blades. A deep "pocket" in the toe makes it easier to pick up the ball and keep it on the blade during tricks.

Stiffness and stability

A slightly stiffer construction provides better control when juggling or rotating the stick in the air. Blades that are too soft tend to lose their shape, making tricks more difficult.

Material

Most zorro blades are made from PE or PP. PP often provides better grip on the ball, while PE is slightly stiffer and more shape-retentive.

Guide: PE, PP and PP+ – the differences between plastic types in floorball blades

Which zorro blade suits you?

For beginners

Choose a blade with clear concavity and a slightly softer feel. This makes it easier to pick up the ball and learn the technique.

For experienced players

A stiffer and more shape-retentive blade provides better precision for technically advanced tricks.
